ACTOR | SINGER | SONGWRITTER
Florida born and bred, singer-songwriter-dancer-actor FASA (a gaming nickname that stuck) loved music from a young age, teaching himself the dances and lyrics to the music videos he was seeing on television (think Backstreet and *NSYNC). “I wasn’t starving for attention, but if a spotlight was directed toward me, I was happy. I loved to perform.” A musical theatre class at a new School caught his eye, and even though he didn’t have the prerequisite of Chorus, he signed up. He hasn’t looked back since.
Fast forward to his first album, STILL STANDING (2018). His songs have earned many accolades, including a semi-finalist nod at the Los Angeles Film Awards for the upbeat dance track “I Feel So Alive.” which also won “Best Male Solo Artist by Viewer’s Choice” and “Best Male Solo Artist” at the California Music Video & Film Awards. He duplicated this feat in 2019 with his song “Still Standing” winning “Best Male Solo Artist” at the California Music Video & Film Awards. Furthermore, “I Feel So Alive” won a competition with South Florida’s PBS station wherein they licensed, and played, the music video for two years. Fasa’s original songs have been included on the soundtrack of feature films that have aired worldwide, including on Lifetime television and LMN. His flourishing acting career is also keeping him busy, most recently with a small role in the Oscar nominated film, ONCE UPON A TIME…IN HOLLYWOOD.
Getting ready to release his follow up, the first single of his forthcoming album, “Apologize,” is a smooth jam with a beat you won’t get out of your head. A trippy video, directed by Michael “Tizzy” McWhorter, really conveys the heartbreak of messing up a valued relationship.
While he loves acting, right now, his focus is on his music. “I love acting, but my music is from my heart. With music, when you first figure out an amazing melody and it’s YOURS, that’s incredible. Acting is not mine – it’s a character that someone else wrote. Music is all mine.”
